Who Is ZX Moto? KH Motorcycles’ New Performance Brand for 2026

We’re proud to be one of the first UK dealers to stock ZX Moto, a new performance brand built by the engineering team behind Kove Moto’s rally success. Meet the 500RR, 500F and 820RR, three machines aimed at riders who want more from their next bike.

Explore The Range Pre-order enquiries welcome

ZX Moto is officially arriving in the UK through KH Motorcycles, bringing a fresh lineup of sport and naked motorcycles built around race-derived engineering rather than badge-engineered leftovers. The range launches with the 500RR sportsbike and 500F naked roadster, both built around a 470cc inline-four engine, with the flagship 820RR sportsbike, developed alongside ZX Moto’s involvement in the 2026 WorldSBK season, following behind. If you’ve outgrown your first bike and want serious performance without flagship pricing, this is a brand worth watching.

Why We’re Backing ZX Moto

  • Founded by Zhang Xue, the engineer behind Kove Moto’s Dakar-proven adventure bikes
  • Backed in the UK by an established distributor, Llexeter Ltd, and a growing dealer network
  • Race-bred development, including a direct link to the 2026 WorldSBK season on the 820RR
  • Competitive pricing against established 500cc and 800cc-class rivals
  • Full finance, warranty and servicing support through KH Motorcycles
  • A genuinely new option for riders who’ve outgrown their first bike but aren’t ready to pay flagship prices

The Story Behind ZX Moto

ZX Moto is a genuinely new name, but not an inexperienced one. The brand was founded by Zhang Xue, previously known for founding Kove Moto, a manufacturer that built its reputation on rally-focused adventure bikes and entries in the Dakar Rally. ZX Moto brings that same engineering background to a new range of road-focused sport and naked motorcycles, distributed in the UK by Devon-based Llexeter Ltd.

The 820RR’s development alongside ZX Moto’s presence in the 2026 WorldSBK season is a deliberate statement of intent, and the brand has also shown an adventure-focused model, the 820X, internationally, hinting at where the range is headed next. UK motorcycle press has already started covering the brand’s arrival, and we expect interest in the range to grow quickly as more riders get to see the bikes in the metal.

For KH Motorcycles, it’s an opportunity to offer something genuinely different alongside our long-standing Lexmoto range, a step up for riders who’ve done their time on a 125 and want to see what comes next.

ZX Moto: Frequently Asked Questions

ZX Moto is a new motorcycle brand distributed in the UK by Llexeter Ltd. It was founded by Zhang Xue, previously the founder of Kove Moto, a manufacturer known for its rally-focused adventure bikes and Dakar Rally entries.
The 500RR is an A2 compliant bike and comes restricted as standard and can be derestricted electronically after the first 500 miles. The 500F and 820RR produce more power than the 47 hp limit allowed on an A2 licence, so as things stand they’re aimed at riders holding a full, unrestricted UK motorcycle (Category A) licence. Speak to our team before you order so we can confirm exactly what you’re eligible to ride.
The 500RR is in stock, order now, with the 500F and the 820RR available to pre-order, expected in March 2027. Contact your local KH Motorcycles showroom for the latest availability and lead times.
Yes. As an authorised ZX Moto dealer, we offer finance options alongside part-exchange, servicing and warranty support across our Market Harborough, Sandiacre and Milton Keynes branches.
The two are separate companies, but ZX Moto’s founder, Zhang Xue, previously founded Kove Moto before starting this new venture, so there’s a shared engineering heritage between the brands.

Should You Consider a ZX Moto?

If you’re a full-licence rider looking for a genuine alternative to the established sport and naked bike brands, ZX Moto is worth a look. In summary:

  • The 500RR and 500F share a 470cc engine putting out 73–84 hp, aimed squarely at riders wanting more than a typical A2 machine
  • The 820RR is the halo model, with WorldSBK-linked development and a claimed 135 hp
  • Backed by an established UK distributor and full KH Motorcycles finance, warranty and servicing support
  • Not yet ready to move up from a 125? Our Lexmoto range remains the ideal CBT and A1 starting point
