If you are looking to buy a Lexmoto LXR SE 125, the new 2026 E55 model takes everything you love about the original and refines it. From the lightweight aluminium swingarm to the stunning full-colour TFT display, this machine is built to turn heads and deliver a ride that feels far bigger than its engine size suggests.

The defining feature of the LXR SE 125 E55 is its road presence. Sitting on a trellis frame with a class-leading 820mm seat height and a wide 150-section rear tyre, it offers the stability and handling of a much larger motorcycle.
Power comes from a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that pushes the learner-legal limit, now mated to a 6-speed gearbox for smoother cruising at top speeds. The "Special Edition" (SE) status adds premium Upside Down (USD) forks, significantly improving cornering confidence for new riders.
We have the Lexmoto LXR SE 125 for sale because it solves the biggest complaint new riders have: feeling small on the road. The aggressive fairing and twin-headlight design demand respect from other traffic.
Despite its size, the lightweight aluminium components on this E55 model keep the weight down, ensuring it remains agile in city traffic. With Euro 5 compliance, you also get a cleaner, more efficient engine, making it an economical commuter as well as a weekend scratcher.
The LXR SE 125 features a 'Big Bike' silhouette and Upside Down Forks as standard.
The LXR 125 SE is consistently one of the UK's best-selling sports 125s. Here is why.
"Everything is set up for this bike to have the road presence of a big bike... I'm sure everyone I rode past thought I was on a Ducati Panigale."
"I get asked what CC it is at every traffic light. It handles corners like a dream and the 6th gear makes dual carriageways effortless."
"For the price, the spec is unbeatable. The TFT screen looks modern and the twin front discs give you so much stopping confidence."

The extra size and the 150-section rear tyre (wider than many 600cc bikes) provide exceptional stability in crosswinds and confidence in corners.
Top Speed & Economy: Riders typically report a comfortable cruising speed of 60-65mph, with a top speed approaching 70mph in favorable conditions. Despite its sports performance, the Euro 5 liquid-cooled engine is incredibly efficient, often returning over 90mpg, making it one of the most economical sports commuters for sale in the UK.

The LXR 125 SE is built on the same Euro 5.5 compliant liquid-cooled 124cc engine and 6-speed gearbox as the standard LXR 125, but adds three significant upgrades: inverted USD (upside-down) front forks for improved cornering rigidity and front-end feel, a lightweight aluminium swingarm for better handling response, and a full-colour TFT digital dashboard in place of the standard digital display. The SE also features wavy petal brake discs front and rear.
The Lexmoto LXR 125 SE shares the same highly reliable 10.6kW @ 9500RPM liquid-cooled engine as the standard model, delivering a top speed of approximately 65 to 70 mph. It provides plenty of power for A-roads while remaining fully learner legal.
Absolutely. Despite its big-bike looks and premium chassis components, the LXR 125 SE is a 125cc motorcycle. You can ride it from 17 years old with a provisional licence and a valid CBT certificate, or with an A1 motorcycle licence.
Upside-down (USD) forks increase the rigidity of the front end of the motorcycle. This reduces flex under heavy braking and cornering, giving you a much more planted, stable, and confidence-inspiring ride compared to standard telescopic forks. On the LXR 125 SE, the USD forks are a premium upgrade over the standard LXR 125 and are typically only found on significantly more expensive motorcycles.
Yes. All new Lexmoto LXR 125 SE models purchased from KH Motorcycles come with a comprehensive 2-year parts and labour warranty, provided you maintain the standard service schedule starting with the initial 500-mile or 3-month service. All warranty servicing must be carried out by an authorised Lexmoto dealer. KH Motorcycles provide full Lexmoto warranty servicing at our Market Harborough, Sandiacre, and Milton Keynes locations.
The Lexmoto LXR 125 SE service intervals are: 500 miles or 3 months (first service - critical for running-in oil change), then 3,000 miles or 6 months, 6,000 miles or 12 months, 9,000 miles or 18 months, 15,000 miles or 24 months, and every 6,000 miles or 12 months thereafter. Whichever milestone comes first applies. All services must be carried out by an Approved Lexmoto Service Centre to maintain your 2-year warranty. KH Motorcycles carry out full Lexmoto warranty servicing at our Market Harborough, Sandiacre, and Milton Keynes locations.
The Lexmoto LXR 125 SE is highly economical, sharing the same fuel-injected engine as the standard LXR 125. You can expect upwards of 100 MPG depending on riding style and conditions. Combined with low road tax for 125cc motorcycles and competitive insurance premiums, the SE offers premium specification at a fraction of the running costs of larger motorcycles.
The Lexmoto LXR 125 SE sits in a low insurance group, making it one of the most affordable premium-spec 125cc sports motorcycles to insure in the UK. Its SE upgrades - USD forks, aluminium swingarm, and TFT dashboard - do not push it into a significantly higher group, so learner and young riders can still access competitive premiums. For the best rates, we recommend getting a quote from Bikesure, who specialise in learner and 125cc motorcycle insurance.
The Lexmoto LXR 125 SE starts from £2,920 OTR. The on-the-road price includes the first registration fee, number plate, 12 months road tax, pre-delivery inspection, and fuel - making the bike fully ready to ride away. Free nationwide UK delivery is included. Contact KH Motorcycles for your full OTR quote and to check current stock.
The Lexmoto LXR 125 SE directly challenges the Honda CBR125R and Yamaha YZF-R125 on specification while undercutting both on price by £500 to £1,500. All three bikes feature liquid-cooled engines, 6-speed gearboxes, and full-size sports chassis. The LXR 125 SE matches the YZF-R125 with inverted USD front forks and a TFT colour dashboard as standard, and adds CBS braking as standard equipment. For riders who want flagship 125cc specification without the flagship price tag, the LXR 125 SE from KH Motorcycles represents outstanding value.
